🔴 1. The Core Objective
Players take turns dropping tokens into a 6-row × 7-column grid. Connect 4 of your colored tiles horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win the round!
⚡ 2. Purple Surge Mode (Row Vaporizer)
Each player holds 1 Purple Token per round. When dropped:
- The entire horizontal row where it lands is laser-vaporized (including the purple token!).
- All tiles above that row drop down (Tetris-style gravity).
- Genius Move (+2 Points): If dropping purple makes you connect 4, score 2 Points!
- Blunder (+2 Points to Opponent): If your drop gives the opponent a 4-connect, opponent gets 2 Points!
🔄 3. Gravity Flip Mode (Green Inversion Coin)
Each player holds 1 Green Coin per round. When armed and played:
- The Green Coin is placed in your chosen column.
- The entire board flips upside down 180° with a dramatic gravity inversion!
- All existing tiles tumble down under reverse gravity and settle into their new bottom slots.
- Gravity Master (+2 Points): If flipping the board causes you to connect 4, you score 2 Points!
- Gravity Backfire (+2 Points to Opponent): If your flip gives the opponent 4-in-a-row, they receive 2 Points!
👑 4. Champion's Advantage & Coin Toss
Round 1 uses a 3D Coin Toss to decide who drops first. In all subsequent rounds, the winner of the previous round claims the Champion's Advantage and drops first!
🌐 5. Online Matches: Resign vs Quit
An online match is a run of rounds against the same opponent. Your clock covers the whole match, not one round.
- Resign Round hands this round to your opponent for 1 point and starts the next one. It is the cheap way out of a Purple Surge that is about to take 2 off you.
- You cannot resign once your opponent has armed their Purple Surge. Arm it and they have to face it.
- Quit leaves the match. Between rounds the points decide the winner; walking out mid-round hands your opponent the whole match.
